My name is Patrick and I work part time at SPUD (a local online organic food delivery company). CBI found me this job and helped to train me. I really like working at SPUD.
I start work in the afternoon because my job is cleaning the cold packs and bins as they come back from delivering orders during the day. When they are clean, I stack them so they are ready for using the next day.
My supervisors at SPUD are very friendly and supportive. They tell me I am doing a good job which makes me feel proud. I really like working because it keeps me busy and gives me spending money. Because I am Deaf, at work we text on my phone to communicate.
It is a good job for me.
